What are Ragdolls?
Ragdolls are large, loveable, floppy cats who are incredibly patient and gentle in nature. Even though they are generally large in size, these cats are very calm and quiet. They love nothing more than cuddle and playing with their owners, and even kids!

Ragdolls are very easy to care for and are very social. They make amazing family pets and love to be around children. Ours are raised around children all day long who handle them daily.

Ragdolls are generally very large and muscular with long flowing hair and a very soft coat. Ragdolls are a low shedding breed, but you may notice that they shed heavier in the spring as the seasons change. They do lack an undercoat, but they are NOT considered hypoallergenic.

Their temperament is about as docile as can be. The name "ragdoll" comes from their tendency to go limp when you pick them up. They love to just relax into your arms and be held all day long.

Ragdoll's are very smart, gentle and incredibly affectionate. They love and crave human attention, but aren't demanding of it. They make wonderful companions without needing as much attention as a dog. They do just fine being left along while you are at work, but may greet you at the door the second you get home! I can usually hear mine meowing from the driveway.
